Magnificent and absolutely perfect location, we were just next door to pub and places, Keswick and Cat Bells and the surrounding area and walks. The breakfast was freshly prepared for what was on offer with vegan sausages and homemade bread.

I spent two nights in the lovely King Room with Lake View. The room was spacious and had a fine panorama of the lake. Caroline and Clive crafted the best breakfasts I've ever had, with homemade ginger cake and locally sourced produce, made it a real treat. Loved breakfasting in the beautiful garden surrounded by colorful flowers. Their genuine hospitality stood out. They were cute and provided excellent local tips, made exploring so much easier. The communal dining experience added a fun social aspect, great for enjoyable conversations with fellow guests. One minor issue was the shower. It could use some improvement as it didn't have the pressure I expected. The lack of clear directions led to a slight delay in finding the place, but it wasn't a major hassle. All in all, The Mount is a gem for anyone wanting to explore the Lakes, with a cozy atmosphere and wonderful hosts.

Loved my time here! The breakfast spread was amazing, and I appreciated the little touch of having homemade treats waiting in the room. A minor hiccup with my navigation, but nothing too bothersome. Just double-check your directions before arrival. 🥞

Amazing breakfasts and friendly vibes!
Just spent 2 nights in the double room with a mountain view and it was awesome! The outdoor breakfast setup is a must-do. Caroline and Clive are super friendly and gave me great local tips. The only bummer was the shower could've been a bit better, but the views totally made up for it.

The check-in process was a bit confusing, as I had to knock on the rear door only to be directed to the front. Breakfast hours felt a tad restrictive, and I barely. It would have been helpful for the parking instructions to be clearer, and the shower pressure could use some improvement. A lack of desk space in the room might not suit those needing to catch up on work .
